The 1,600 Pandas Are Here!
And they'll be touring all over Hong Kong until mid-July. Here's where to catch the adorable pack.

They're here: 1,600 papier-mâché pandas have just crossed the border into Hong Kong. Already they're promising to be the next giant rubber duck—more than 100 people welcomed the pandas' arrival.

The new arrivals meet with fans waiting at the airport.
Designed by French sculptor Paulo Grangeon, the 1600 Pandas exhibition hopes to promote conservation and sustainable development—there are only roughly 1,600 pandas left worldwide.
Get ready for pandas to pop up at over 10 locations all over the city, flash-mob style. They will first visit Ma Wan today, June 10, followed by the Hong Kong Clock Tower this Saturday, June 14. Next week, the pandas will be crossing over to Hong Kong island, touring the trams and hitting up Victoria Park and Statute Square.
They will only be at each location for several hours, so check out the exact schedule on their Facebook page.
