Try Some Thai

Café at Hyatt Regency Sha Tin is welcoming back Thai chef Siriluck Lekkwan, nicknamed Chef Mum, to put together home-style delicacies for lunch and dinner buffets from now until March 23. Chef Mum was taught by the best as she apprenticed under her grandmother, who was King Rama IX’s former chef. Using the best seasonal ingredients available and a satisfying blend of sour, salty, sweet and spicy flavors, Thai food is said to be one of the healthiest cuisines. With Chef Mum’s classical training and authentic seasonings, you can’t go wrong: Try the delicious appetizer of grilled pork neck served with Thai “jaew” (dried chili) dip and main courses ranging from soups to noodles and curries. Bring your Thai journey to an end by treating yourself to the classic dessert of sticky rice with mango. Drop by for lunch between 11:30am and 2:30pm ($258 on weekdays or $328 on weekends), or enjoy dinner from 5:30pm to 10pm at ($408 from Monday to Thursday or $468 from Friday to Sunday).
