Restaurants

AZABU SABO
Azabu Sabo is a mainstay of Tokyo’s Shinjuku district, and now has outposts across Asia. This buzzy restaurant serves authentic Japanese café fare. You can’t miss it, just keep your eyes peeled for the colorful display of plastic food in the window! Savory options include salads, soups, ramen noodles and bento sets. Personally, we’d recommend skipping straight to the sweets—black sesame milk shakes, green tea ice cream with dumplings and red bean paste, sweet potato ice cream and hot balls with butter sauce.
G/F, Miramar Shopping Centre, 1 Kimberley Rd., Tsim Sha Tsui, 2377-3780

COCO

This sleek café is the perfect place to recharge your batteries after exploring Kimberley Road. Coco serves artisan chocolates, designer cupcakes and mouthwatering cakes by the slice. Our favorites: the raspberry mousse dome, Baileys chocolate cheesecake and orange chocolate terrine.
The Mira Hotel, 118 Nathan Rd., Tsim Sha Tsui, 2315-5566

FOOK LAM MOON
This restaurant is known for its mouthwatering Cantonese cuisine and dim sum. Head chef Law On serves up traditional fare like shark fin soup, crab gratin, roast pigeon, roast suckling pig and birds nest dessert. Dim Sum is available daily, but stop by on the weekend for the chef’s specials.

This restaurant is on the top floor of the Kimberley Plaza Arcade, which backs on to Knutsford Terrace. As the name suggests, it specializes in cuisine from Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Try and snag one of the sofas or a seat out on the balcony. Try the green papaya salad, tom yum soup and spicy curries.

It’s motto is “cuisine without borders”, you can create your own mains and pizzas from the range of fresh meats, vegetables, sauces and spices on display. Simply mix and match your ingredients, then wait for the team of chefs to work their magic. The decor is eye-catching, with sheepskin chairs, rawhide lampshades and traditional hanging lanterns.
