Mamma Mia

Like any good Italian son, Chef Vittorio Lucariello at Angelini has designed a four-course set dinner menu on May 9 and 10 to celebrate Mother’s Day. Priced at $680 per person, guests will be served a complimentary Bellini cocktail to go with the meal, which includes slow-cooked tender salmon with capers and olive sauce, main courses of either grilled seabass with artichoke and fennel, or milk-fed veal tenderloin with green pea purée and walnut sauce, ending with Mamma’s mini sponge cake with custard cream and pineapple, all served against the breathtaking backdrop of Hong Kong’s skyline.

Sweetness

ROKA, known for its contemporary Japanese robatayaki cuisine, is rewarding mothers with a complimentary dessert with lunch or dinner, plus a special gift that mama gets to take home. But that’s not all; mothers who indulge in dinner at ROKA from May 3 to 17 will be presented with a buy-1-get-1-free afternoon dessert platter coupon, which will come in handy after strenuous shopping with other tai-tais. Now that’s a sweet deal.

Small Fries

OK, so young moms will probably be impressing their kids with this one, instead of the other way around. Young’uns can munch on burgers, chicken strips, fried shrimp, hot dogs and Mississippi Mud pie, while grownups can feast on Bubba Gump’s signature American seafood sampler, salads, ribs and steak. And after the meal, family portraits can be taken, printed, framed and presented to mommas as a delightful souvenir.
