The Shopper: The 9th Muse
Accessories boutique The 9th Muse has been a favourite since it opened thanks to its extensive selection of hard-to-find brands ranging from vintage and modern jewellery to chic scarves and beauty products.

First, the boutique was given a sleek makeover. The new space is definitely more modern thanks to its funky geometric tiled flooring, while the art deco style chandelier and wood panelled walls add a glamorous touch. It may sound intimidating, but it's not. The staff are friendly and will offer you a drink and a seat on the comfy leather sofas in the middle of the store.

Along with a new look are must-have accessories you can't find elsewhere, including the shop's first in-house jewellery line, TwelveOTwo. The first collection was created with New York-based designer Chris Habana and boasts simple yet sculptural pieces available in molten gold or silver. The collection includes architectural cuffs, earrings and necklaces that fashionistas will love. Next season the label will be selling wholesale to other retailers.
The boutique is known for its cool selection of brands, and new arrivals for autumn include Danielle Nicole backpacks and handbags, Julie Vos and Karma Creations featuring diamonds and semi-precious stones.
