Price: about HK$515 without drinks or the service charge.
Ambience: it's a large space although there weren't many people when we visited on a rainy weeknight. We're not sure why the hostess sat a group of four so close to us when there were so many empty tables.

Recommended dishes: the Caesar salad (HK$110) was a good, classic rendition of the dish, and came with really delicious parmesan croutons. Crispy calamari (HK$105) had a light coating, and wasn't oily. The USDA prime rib-eye (HK$358 for 200 grams) was tender and had a good, beefy flavour, but it could have used a touch more salt. The creamy corn (HK$50) was a generous serving, but it would have been better if it was hotter.
Pros: the meats came with a nice selection of condiments that included pickled beetroot and pickled shallots.

Cons: the waitress or kitchen forgot about the second appetiser of crispy calamari, and we had to ask for it. The caesar salad came in a warm bowl and the meats were served on cold plates. The main courses all came at the same time even though we asked for them to be served one at a time. Berkshire pork chop with Mongolian glaze (HK$320) was dry. Apple bread pudding (HK$88) was stodgy.
What else? The Chop House is part of the Wooloomooloo Group.
