Matchmaker Kaitlyn Kapur's favourite vegetarian restaurants in Hong Kong
I'm quite an adventurous eater. I love trying new dishes, but, as a vegetarian, I find some cuisines are easier than others.

I'm quite an adventurous eater. I love trying new dishes, but, as a vegetarian, I find some cuisines are easier than others. My absolute favourite is Middle Eastern and I could eat the zaluuk from (4 Staunton Street, SoHo, tel: 2522 2128) every day. (239 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, tel: 5503 9181) has the best Lebanese dishes in town.
The vegetarian menu at (7/F Block B, PMQ, 35 Aberdeen Street, Central, tel: 2156 0888) can satisfy my cravings. I prefer to skip restaurant dinners on Valentine's Day. Things like forced violin serenades and overpriced flowers mean that there is too much pressure. I think it would be more memorable to make a romantic meal for your partner at home, or cook together.
(Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter, tel: 6077 5964) offers wonderful Thai cooking classes on a 63-foot Mandarin Manor yacht. The best part? You can enjoy your meal on the top deck overlooking Aberdeen typhoon shelter.
For a more intimate home-cooked experience, I love the recipes from delivery service (tel: 2108 4000).
They key to a romantic evening is to go somewhere outside your normal routine, like a private kitchen. I enjoy (12/F, 2-6 Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay, tel: 2881 6662). (112 Sai Kung Road, Sai Kung, tel: 2335 5515) is another option because it's off the beaten path, with an amazing view.
If you want to meet people, look for places without formal seating arrangements. At lunchtime, (92 Wellington Street, Central, tel: 2851 1611) is filled with friendly people in communal seating.
