After a huge year, Korean drama still has a few more tricks up its sleeve for the last month of 2021. December will welcome Disney+’s first K-drama, Korea’s first moon-set drama and a host of thrillers, period dramas and tales of romance. Here are eight to catch:

1. Our Beloved Summer

Parasite’s Choi Woo-shik and Kim Da-mi of Itaewon Class are teaming up for a very different kind of story in the romantic comedy Our Beloved Summer.

The young stars will play the naive and free-spirited illustrator Choi Woong and the adaptable public relations professional Kook Yeon-soo, a couple that broke up 10 years previously.

During their time together in high school, they filmed a documentary and now it is becoming popular. Even though they don’t want to, the pair are forced to reunite in front of the cameras.

2. Artificial City

December’s high society drama looks to be Artificial City from JTBC, featuring Soo Ae (Athena: Goddess of War) and Kim Kang-woo (Woman of 9.9 Billion).
