This could well be the most controversial poll of 2023.

Keung To, one of the 12 singers from the Hong Kong Cantopop boy group Mirror, has been voted the third most handsome face in the world. Yup, the WORLD.

The 24-year-old trails just behind Henry Cavill (Superman, The Witcher) and Timothée Chalamet (Dune, Wonka) but ahead of all the Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Taiwanese male singers, including the seven BTS members, as well as actors like Chris Hemsworth and Pedro Pascal, on The 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2023.

Posted on YouTube, the list has been published annually by English writer TC Candler and The Independent Critics since 1990, and 2,656 had voted in this year’s exercise via monetisation platform Patreon.

Many were quick to congratulate Keung To in the YouTube comments section, saying they were proud of him – bar one who thought the poll was rigged. Whether a Mirror fan or not, it is great to see so many Asian faces have made it to both The 100 Most Handsome Faces and The 100 Most Beautiful Faces lists.

V (BTS), Bang Chan (Stray Kids), Chinese actor Zhang Zhehan, Jisoo (Blackpink) and Thai singer Sitala all made it to the top 10 on the two lists.
