Korean screen goddess Jun Ji-hyun will guest in the new season of popular Netflix K-horror series Kingdom.

The streaming giant has released the official poster for the much anticipated second season of its original zombie horror series that will begin on March 13.

Other than Jun, best known to the international audience for her role in My Sassy Girl (2001) and the mega 2014 K-drama hit My Love from the Star, the cast from the previous outing – Ju Ji-hoon, Bae Doo-na and Ryu Seung-ryong – will all return for the new season.

The mystery thriller series, set during the Joseon Kingdom (1392―1897), revolves around Crown Prince Yi Chang, played by Ju, who fights against a mysterious plague and people behind the evil scheme.

Season 1 was released in January last year and grabbed viewers' attention worldwide for its realistic visual effects of zombies and intense plot. It ended on a nail-biting cliffhanger.
