Danish singer-songwriter MØ, British trip hop star Bonobo and English electronic duo AlunaGeorge have been announced as the headline acts at this year’s Sónar Hong Kong music festival.

Other notable acts appearing at the third local edition of the influential Spanish electronic music and arts festival on April 13 include experimental American bassist/producer Thundercat, Canadian DJ/producer Ryan Hemsworth and John Talabot, a DJ from the festival’s home city of Barcelona.

Since Sónar was launched in Barcelona in 1994, it has evolved into arguably the most influential electronic music festival in the world. It made its first international foray to London in 2002 and has since travelled to cities including Tokyo, New York, Seoul, Chicago, Hamburg, Buenos Aires and São Paulo.
