Charlene Choi puts failed marriage behind her and plans sweet holiday getaway
Actress-singer Charlene Choi Cheuk-yin appears to be over her split with her husband, actor Ronald Cheng Chung-kei, and is looking forward to a sweet year ahead.
At the festive campaign for the Harbour City mall in Tsim Sha Tsui, Choi (pictured) was wrapped in a cute chocolate bunny dress conceived by young Japanese designer Erika Mizuno, and donned cherry and brownie headpieces made by Piers Atkinson (who has also designed for Lady Gaga).
She was joined by three child models on the stage at last week's launch ceremony, and was seen cheerfully helping the children get their faces made up as cats.
Having been finally granted a temporary divorce court order earlier in the week, Choi seemed to have already moved on. 'I think it was a relief for both of us when we made the decision. We are still friends,' she said.
Speaking of her new beau, singer-actor William Chan Wai-ting, Choi said they were not planning anything romantic for their first Valentine's Day together. 'We'll go to the company's annual dinner for Valentine's Day.'
But they will probably have a sweet Lunar New Year getaway.
