Shrek 3 doesn't come out until the end of next month, but its Hong Kong-born director, Raman Hui, was back in town for a press conference on Thursday to unveil the local stars dubbing the Cantonese version.

Besides Chapman To Man-chat (below left), who voiced Shrek in the first two movies, Edison Chen Koon-hei (right) joins the cast as the prince-in-waiting. Justin Timberlake voiced the Hollywood version.

Chen appeared in shorts and sandals, and it seems he approached the gig with just as casual an attitude.

'I didn't do too much preparation,' Chen said. 'Of course I looked at my scripts beforehand but I think the reason why they picked me was because they liked my natural voice, so it is better for me to let it be and not overdo it.'

Character actor To is expecting a third success for the Shrek franchise. 'The movie holds the worldwide box office record for animation films and I hope Shrek 3 will break its own record.'

As for comparing himself with the lovable green ogre, To laughed. 'Of course I am not as ugly and I think he is a lot taller than I am.'
