The US money manager won the top prizes in the three, five, and 10-year categories of the 13th annual awards, presented together with Standard & Poor's Fund Services.

The winners were selected from 1,950 retail market-oriented funds authorised for distribution in Hong Kong by the Securities and Futures Commission, with performance judged according to Standard & Poor's international/ offshore sectors methodology.

'Over the last 10 years, the household penetration rate in terms of unit trust investments in Hong Kong has risen from 5 per cent to 13 per cent. This excludes retirement scheme investments,' said John Ford, the managing director of Fidelity Hong Kong.

'This backdrop of regular savings and longer investment time horizons plays to the strengths of fund managers like Fidelity, which as these SCMP Awards clearly demonstrate, has been able to deliver competitive and consistent long-term returns.'
