Fans of Sandy Lam Yik-lin may have to wait a while for another Cantonese album from the singer.
Her latest disc, Original Colour, went on sale on Thursday. It's her first full-length Cantonese studio recording since 1996's Feeling Perfect.
'After this Cantonese album, I'll focus on Mandarin,' Lam (right) said. 'I'm not sure when I'll go back and make another Cantonese record.'
The 39-year-old singer has also started a new series of four concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum. But whereas many singers diet and exercise strenuously before their concerts, Lam said she wasn't particularly worried about her form or fitness.
'I didn't go on any slimming programme,' she said. 'I just danced for several hours a day. I've done everything I should have done. I'm not concerned about whether I've lost weight.'
