SCMP Reporter

The Swank  turned up the  heat   at its spring/summer 2005 collection fashion show.

The show, featuring designers such as Givenchy,  Kenzo, Roberto Cavalli,  Sonia Rykiel  and Christian Lacroix,  took place on the spacious 38th floor of Three Pacific Place in Admiralty.

About 250 guests and fashion enthusiasts  attended, and the venue was decked out  with jungle decorations.

They enjoyed delicacies such as baby abalone in cucumber cup and prawn with cucumber salsa.

Guests watched the show while lounging in velvet-draped chairs,  with candles and African drums  adding to the atmosphere.

Among those attending were  the Swank Shop's owners  David and Judy Hong, Susan  Sng Kwong-wah,  Manolo and Chitra Chellaram  and  Valerie Wilson Trower.
