Of all the fans who got a chance to meet Keanu Reeves yesterday, few had better reason to be excited than singer Fiona Sit Hoi-kei.
After all, the 23-year-old singer's success was built largely on her hit song Keanu Reeves' Reply Letter. The lyrics tell the story of a girl who wrote fan letters to Reeves every day for 10 years before the actor wrote back.
Sit was a guest interviewer for TVB at yesterday's public relations session, and got a precious six minutes with her idol.
'I was very nervous,' she told CitySeen. 'My heart was beating very fast because it was the first interview I had conducted and I knew we only had one shot at it.
'Because of what the movie was about, we chatted a little about his views on heaven and hell. He told me he didn't believe in any particular religion,' Sit said. She had wanted to ask Reeves some personal questions and also seek acting advice but there just wasn't enough time.
And there was also no chance, unfortunately, for the most important question. 'No, I didn't get his address,' she chuckled. 'I don't think I'll be writing to him. You know, I'm not even sure if he knows about my song.'
