Super sounds from Ocean's 12
This soundtrack is the sequel to Ocean's Eleven (2001), which won a BMI Film Music Award for Dublin-born DJ and composer David Holmes.
While Ocean's Eleven makes you feel like you are in Las Vegas, Ocean's Twelve transports you to Europe with its hip, exotic sounds.
The beautiful ballad L'Appuntamento sung by famous Italian singer Ornella Vanoni opens the soundtrack, followed by $165 Million + Interest [Into] The Round Up which was written by Holmes but is not used in the film.
Lifting the Building, Yen on the Carousel, What R We Stealing and 7/29/04 The Day Of set the mod 60s Euro mood.
The only disappointment with this album is the oversight of not including The a la Menthe by French group La Caution, the backing track for the scene when Night Fox passes through the laser security system.
The movie has been widely criticised; if it doesn't fall into the most disappointing flick category, it is probably because of Holmes' music.
