Bedridden ex-KMB chief files writ to stop former actress visiting
Former KMB chairman Woo Pak-chuen has taken out a restraining order to stop former actress Lana Wong Har-wai from visiting him in hospital.
The writ, filed on Wednesday but released only yesterday at the High Court, was taken out by Mr Woo, 94, against his one-time friend, who is dubbed 'the queen of gossip' by the local tabloid press.
Mr Woo was a prominent solicitor and a former Executive Councillor under the colonial government.
'The plaintiff's claim is for an injunction ... restraining the defendant ... from entering, remaining in or trespassing upon 'the Room' of Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong.'
Wong, 70, must answer the injunction within 14 days or otherwise satisfy its demands, according to the writ.
Mr Woo has been undergoing treatment for a heart problem at the hospital since May.
