Rob Lowe a proud father

ACTOR Rob Lowe (pictured) and his wife, make-up artist Sheryl Berkoff, are proud parents of a boy born in Los Angeles.

Matthew Edward Lowe weighed in at 4.31 kilograms last Friday.

He is the first child for the Lowes, who were married two years ago.

Lowe's film credits include the box office hits St Elmo's Fire and About Last Night.

But the 29-year-old actor also is known for appearing in a dimly-lit videotape allegedly while having sex with a teenager and a woman.
