Why did you take up cricket? Growing up in India, if you didn't play cricket you were ostracised from kids' society in the parks and streets.
What's been your biggest thrill? Meeting my wife Shveitta. It was 1986 and I saw her at a function. I had to use all my resources to get her number. It was three months before we went on our first date.
Who do you live with and where? I live in Silverstrand, Clearwater Bay, with Shveitta and my one-year-old daughter Inara.
Do you like music? Oh, Yes. I love vintage rock, from Pink Floyd to Dire Straits. And I love Hindi music - any Shammi Kapoor movie with Mohammed Rafi singing.
What was the last movie you saw? I travel a lot due to work so most of my movies are seen in-flight. The last one was Die Another Day. The last time I went to a theatre was in December.
