Tong and Wong, who will both represent Hong Kong in the Asian Games in Thailand in December, face tough competition as they will come up against some of the world's up-and-coming professionals in this ATP Tour Challenger tournament.

'This is a tremendous opportunity for us to gain valuable experience against some of the world's top international players. I know these guys will be hungry to win and I know I'll have to be on top form. But I'm looking forward to it,' said 17-year-old Wong, who last year gained his first ATP points when he qualified for the Singapore Challenger Doubles event along with Tong.

Tong, who at 23 has more experience than his Hong Kong Davis Cup teammate, is also looking forward to the challenge.

'I would like to thank the organisers for giving us the chance to represent Hong Kong at this tournament. We'll both be doing our very best,' he said.

Tong has represented Hong Kong at both the junior and senior levels for many years. He has played in satellite circuits in Asia and represented Hong Kong in the Asian Championships on several occasions.
