An airline steward's career was cut short when he was struck down by a runaway food cart, a writ says.
Eddie Poon Kai-chung is suing China Airlines for employing the woman he blames for his injuries.
On July 15, 1995, Mr Poon was delivering and loading passenger meals for Cathay Pacific Catering (Hong Kong).
After wheeling a fully laden cart on to a plane at Kai Tak, he left it on board near the food storage area.
Mr Poon tried to lock the wheels and, finding he could not, he squatted down to inspect them.
At that moment, a nearby stewardess was said to have yanked another food cart free of its parking space.
Mr Poon claims she pulled it too hard, sending it careering into his back.
