Elle at home in Discovery Bay

Not many people know that Australian supermodel-turned-actress Elle Macpherson once lived in Hong Kong, spending time with her family in Discovery Bay.

Elle, currently starring in the movie The Edge with Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin, told me she loved living near the sea and had 'many happy memories growing up there'.

Her father was an Australian diplomat and was posted to Hong Kong when Elle was younger.

The supermodel is expecting a baby daughter next month.

The father of her child is a Hungarian-born financier, Arpad Bussen. He lives in London, which is where Elle plans to move after the baby is born.
