XATA Corp has won a contract to provide computer hardware and software for Ultramar Diamond Shamrock Corp's next-generation management system for its 70-truck raw-crude transport fleet, an official said.

  The value of the contract was not disclosed.

  Ultramar Diamond Shamrock is an independent refiner and marketer of petroleum products.

   XATA supplies on-board information systems, services and computer software to electronically monitor the operations of the fleet trucking industry.
