Card lifts savings

Crown Motors offers customers a 'Toyota Visa card' with all the advantages of a standard Visa card and extra benefits.

It offers a 15 per cent discount on parts, services and Toyota Rent-A-Cars, along with 57 days of interest-free credit. Each $10 spent on the card also earns one credit.

These accumulate in the same way as frequent flyer points and can be redeemed for further savings, including fuel discounts at Caltex, discounts on new vehicle purchases and discounts on other Toyota merchandise.

'We have issued 4,000 of the cards so far,' marketing communications manager Anna Au said. 'The idea is to create a Toyota family feeling.' For information, contact the IBA Credit Card Centre customer service hotline (2566-8181).
