New facet to fashion as Cartier courts jewellery lovers

CARTIER, famous for its line of luxury goods, has added Hong Kong to the list of cities housing a boutique jewellery store, Cartier Joaillerie.

The boutique, only the second in Asia, opened last week in Central with a warmly received gala reception.

'Cartier views the territory on a similar level with such cosmopolitan centres as Paris, London, New York and Tokyo,' said Cartier's Gerard Djaoui.

Apart from permanent displays, the Prince's Building store will also specialise in customised jewellery.
