Lorea Solabarrieta, news anchor and founder of freedom lab television
What I'm listening to: Tinariwen's Tassili album. It gives me goose bumps. I saw them play live in Hong Kong and have been hooked ever since. Their songs are about freedom, and this resonates with me and my philosophy in life.
What I'm reading: The No A**hole Rule book (by Robert Sutton) - because I encourage 'no a**hole' behaviour among my employees. I want to encourage happiness in the workplace because I believe this fuels creativity and fearlessness in the work we do.
What I'm watching: A Separation, by Iranian director Asghar Farhadi. It's just the latest Iranian film I love. I also love The White Meadows. The simplicity and art direction of these films inspires me to create a film of my own. When I see how life is in Iran, it really seems like a world away, in terms of women's rights and the role of women in society. They still have so far to go.
Where I'm surfing: I visit my own site freedomlab.tv as well as theinspiration.com and nowness.com. On Freedom Lab, I love how we're able to display video in a simple manner, as well as the artistic direction in each video. There are no distractions such as advertising. It's storytelling at its best.
