Chinese smartphone brand Honor released its new flagship model in Europe this week -- bringing much of the technology in Huawei’s flagship P20 Pro to a cheaper handset.

Visually, it has the P20 Pro’s notch as well the option of that unique gradient color on the rear case.

And on the inside it features Huawei’s very own Kirin 970 chip, which powers the phone’s much-touted AI functionality -- most often seen when taking pictures. Honor says that, like the P20 Pro, it can identify over 500 scenarios when shooting, including people, scenery and animals.

But considering the Honor 10 costs half the price of the P20 Pro, there are understandably some trade-offs to hit that price.

Among them is the camera (or cameras). Instead of three rear cameras, Honor 10 owners will have to make do with just two. There’s a 16-megapixel main sensor and a 24-megapixel monochrome sensor that sit horizontally, instead of stacked vertically like on the P20 Pro.
