Nat ‘Wondergirl’ Jaroonsak is facing a very different challenge to the one she expected this Saturday.

Originally been scheduled to face Dayane Cardoso in a four round mixed-rules contest at ONE Fight Night 19, she will now take on Poland’s Martyna Kierczynska in three rounds of Muay Thai.

There was no reason given for Cardoso’s withdrawal from a fight that had for two rounds of MMA and two rounds of Muay Thai.

Kierczynska, who has won gold medals at numerous Muay Thai tournaments including the WMC Pro World Championships, the World Combat Games and the European Games, will be making her ONE Championship debut.

This will be Jaroonsak’s first time competing in Muay Thai since 2021, and she is coming off back-to-back losses in a modified-rules boxing match and an MMA bout.

The rest of the card remains intact. In the main event Jonathan Haggerty will be defending his bantamweight Muay Thai belt against Felipe Lobo.

ONE Fight Night 19 (Muay Thai unless stated): Jonathan Haggerty (c) v Felipe Lobo (for bantamweight title); Saemapetch Fairtex v Mohamed Younes Rabah (bantamweight); Danial Williams v Lito Adiwang (MMA – strawweight); Liam Nolan v Nauzet Trujillo (lightweight); Luke Lessei v Eddie Abasolo (featherweight); Thongpoon PKSaenchaigym v Timur Chuikov (strawweight); Wondergirl Jaroonsak v Martyna Kierczynska (strawweight); Mansur Malachiev v Yosuke Saruta (strawweight).
