The ONE Fight Night 20 card has been bolstered with the addition of a strawweight Muay Thai fight between two Eastern Europeans.

Ekaterina Vandaryeva and Martyna Kierczynska will do battle at Lumpinee Stadium on March 9.

March 8 is international women’s day and this card will consist exclusively of female fighters.

Vandaryeva hails from Belarus and has lost all four of her ONE Championship fights to date while Poland’s Kierczynska has been handed a very quick turnaround.

Kierczynska stepped up at very short notice to face Nat ‘Wondergirl’ Jaroonsakgym at ONE Fight Nigh 19 last weekend. She won with a second round stoppage and already looks set to be a title contender in the strawweight division.

Another strawweight Muay Thai fight was also added to the card this week. Former title challenger Jackie Buntan has been matched with Martine Michieletto.

Buntan hails from the US but has roots in the Philippines. She has won her last two and was scheduled to face reigning strawweight champion Smilla Sundell in a rematch at ONE Fight Night 14 last year.

Buntan pulled out of that fight for undisclosed reasons. She faces Italy’s Michieletto who is coming off a decision win over Amber Kitchen at ONE Fight Night 11.

The event will be broadcast live on Prime Video in North America and as previously announced there are two atomweight title fights on the card. In the main event Janet Todd faces Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtomin a kickboxing unification bout.

The Muay Thai belt is on the line in the co-main event. Allycia Rodrigues is defending the title she has held since 2020 against challenger Cristina Morales.

The other fight on the card features Hong Kong’s own Yu Yau Pui. She faces Argentinian Lara Fernandezin an atomweight Muay Thai fight.
