Introduction

John Lineker was the big casualty as all 20 fighters on Saturday’s ONE Championship Fight Night 13 card weighed in on Thursday night in Bangkok.

There were 10 fights set to take place at the famed Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand’s capital, but three of them are now in doubt after a slew of hydration test fails.

The two titles fights will go ahead, however, after things – mostly – went smoothly on the scale for all concerned during the official three-hour testing window.

Flyweight kickboxing champ Chingiz Allazov will defend his belt in the main event against Marat Grigorian in a highly-anticipated career trilogy. The challenger gave fans a scare by failing his first hydration attempt, but quickly returned to pass and make weight.

In the co-main, flyweight submission grappling king Mikey Musumeci will look to fend off the challenge of strawweight MMA champ Jarred Brooks after both hit their marks at Thursday’s official checks.

Former bantamweight MMA champion Lineker, who lost his belt on the scale in October, was left needing to pass hydration and negotiate a catchweight for his bout with Kim Jae-woong, however.

Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong and Elias Mahmoudi also failed to hit their marks for their respective bouts with Nauzet Trujillo and Edgar Tabares.

Here’s how all the drama unfolded.
