ONE Championship makes late shake-up to Fight Night 13 card with three new bouts
- Tye Ruotolo will face lightweight MMA contender Dagi Arslanaliev in a catchweight submission grappling match on Saturday morning
- Supergirl also has a new opponent, with Lara Fernandez replacing Cristina Morales at Lumpinee Stadium
ONE Championship has made a big late shake-up to its Fight Night 13 card in Bangkok this weekend, with three new bouts added.
Tye Ruotolo will face lightweight MMA contender Dagi Arslanaliev in a catchweight submission grappling match at Lumpinee Stadium, the promotion announced on Tuesday.
Turkey’s Arslanaliev has not competed since December 2021, when he scored a third-round TKO against Timofey Nastyukhin in a Fight of the Year contender.
In another change, Supergirl Jaroonsak will now fight Lara Fernandez in a catchweight kickboxing bout on Saturday morning. The matchup was confirmed on Monday.
Spain’s Fernandez replaces Cristina Morales, just three weeks after she suffered a 28-second TKO loss to Phetjeeja Ormeekhun at ONE Fight Night 12.
Rungwaree Sitsongpeenong also has a new opponent for Saturday. The Thai will take on Spain’s Nauzet Trujillo, who steps in for the injured Liam Nolan in a lightweight Muay Thai fight.
Iraj Azizpour’s heavyweight kickboxing fight with Ahmed Krnjic has been scrapped completely from the Fight Night 13 card.
ONE had already made big changes to the event in the last few weeks, adding a second title fight to the line-up, which will be headlined by Chingiz Allazov’s featherweight kickboxing title defence against Marat Grigorian.
Flyweight submission grappling champion Mikey Musumeci will now defend his belt against strawweight MMA king Jarred Brooks in the co-main event.
The biggest attraction for local fans is likely to be Muay Thai champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai’s featherweight kickboxing debut against Davit Kiria.
Tawanchai will put his belt on the line against Superbon Singha Mawynn in a highly anticipated bout on October 7.
Former bantamweight MMA champion John Lineker also returns on Saturday, facing South Korea’s Kim Jae-woong.
