Disappearing woman at airport baffles millions worldwide
Online video viewed millions of times captures a woman vanishing, but is it sleight of hand?
A video posted online has left millions of viewers scratching their heads as it appears to show a woman at a Danish airport vanishing into thin air.
A blonde traveller is shown chatting to another woman, and as the two part ways she disappears from view in seconds.
“Call Mulder and Scully,” said one YouTube watcher, Bobby Singer, referring to the lead characters in popular 1990s television series The X-Files, which dealt with stories of the occult and alien abductions.

Others said it was just a camera trick, as the missing woman is obscured behind her chatting partner perfectly.
Some viewers forensically examined the video for reflections of the woman in the rubbish bin, shadows on the ground, and a foot seen peeking out behind the brown-haired woman in the foreground.
“Right before the blonde lady disappears you can see her turn her body towards the brown-haired lady and stick her leg out. Then a couple of seconds later you can see a little bit of the blonde-haired lady’s hair behind the brown-haired lady’s ponytail. I think they just PERFECTLY timed them walking beside each other,” said KrazyKaylee on YouTube.
For many Hongkongers, the curious video was an excuse to crack a joke: “Some people will do anything to avoid the TSA,” said one YouTube user.
“It looks like the other lady absorbed her,” said another.
