Vintage and original Chinese government propaganda posters from the 1950s to 1990s are now on display at a huge exhibition in Hong Kong, giving visitors a fascinating insight into the work of the mainland’s propaganda machine.

More than 70 originals are being shown, touching on a range of subjects, including North Korea, the handover of Hong Kong and the condemnation of the ‘British imperialists’ in the late 1960s.

The exhibition will be until February 7 at the Picture This Gallery in Central.
