Chinese tourists have been feeding real money to fish in a park in the hope that it will bring them good luck, a mainland media reports.

Sunday’s warm weather led to large crowds of visitors visiting the park in Jinan, Shandong province, and a number of them were seen throwing coins and bank notes into a pond full of fish, the news portal 163.com reported.

Visitors believe the fish are sacred and capable of bringing them good luck if they are fed them with money, the report said.
