Mainland China’s first Disney theme park gives glimpse of what's to come ahead of its June opening
The Shanghai Disney Resort has released its first photos of attractions as Disney fans clamour to get a peek of the new theme park.
The photos offer the public a glimpse of mainland China’s first Disney theme park, which is scheduled to open on June 16.

The Enchanted Storybook Castle is set to be the landmark of Shanghai Disneyland for being “the first castle to represent all the Disney princesses”, as well as being “the tallest, largest and most interactive Disney castle in the world”.
The Chinese heroine Mulan will feature in the Voyage to the Crystal Grotto, while the Sunnyside Café in the Toy Story Hotel will include Chinese-style kites featuring Toy Story characters, inspired by the traditional kites from Weifang in Shandong province.
