Destined to be wed? Fiji's Laucala Island may steal your heart
With secluded beaches, fine dining and a luxury sailboat, the private island resort is the stuff of destination wedding dreams
And for those who would like to steal away to a secluded spot in paradise, Laucala is hard to resist.
While paradise is a luxury of its own, it doesn't hurt that the resort offers a Crystal Roederer welcome cocktail and head chef to personalise wedding menus that are supplied with produce from the island's farm.
Private pools accompany each of the Laucala's 25 villas, which are neighboured by the island’s 18-hole course.
Laucala's wedding package promises spa treatments and sunset cruises, but most exciting is the resort's submarine, which provides an underwater safari of depths up to 400 metres and 360-degree views.
Dive sites are 40 minutes from the island, and snorkelers need not stray further than Laucala's lagoons. Underwater honeymoon, anyone?
