Justin Bieber’s favourite food may famously be the humble spaghetti bolognese – but the Canadian pop phenomenon still indulges in fine dining from time to time.

The bestselling singer has been sighted at different eateries serving up cuisines from across the globe, often with his wife Hailey, and he even has a pasta dish named after him in Beverly Hills.

Here are just a few of the “Purpose” hitmaker’s favourite restaurants across the United States.

1. Casa Restaurant

Bieber visited the Brazilian restaurant with his soon-to-be wife, Hailey Baldwin, not long after he popped the question in July 2018. At the time, People reported that Bieber had bragged about his wife-to-be to a waiter who worked at the low-key establishment in the West Village in New York City.

Known for serving up homestyle Brazilian comfort food such as Bahian seafood stew, Casa sadly closed its doors in December 2022 after almost 25 years of business.

You’d think that given their star power, Justin and Hailey wouldn’t need to worry about making restaurant reservations, even when it comes to iconic New York City establishments – but that hasn’t been the case. At the world-famous Carbone on Thompson Street, where guests can reserve a spot up to 30 days in advance, it appears that no amount of fame guarantees you a seat.

Per ET Online, the couple was turned away in June 2022 after they showed up without a booking. Famous for its spicy rigatoni vodka, Carbone is a favourite among celebrities such as the Kardashians and Rihanna. The restaurant boasts red velvet curtains and enforces a dress code whereby underdressed guests may be denied entry.

In January 2023 though, the Biebers were spotted entering the restaurant – meaning they were finally able to dine at the famed Italian-American joint.

After being turned away from Carbone last year, Justin and Hailey reportedly then drove four blocks south to the members-only Cipriani Socialista, where they successfully nabbed a seat and had an enjoyable evening.

The eatery has a dedicated brunch menu serving up a range of Middle Eastern dishes including an Iraqi sabich plate and Yemenite malawach, but you can also go for their signature Morrocan tagines and couscous.
