The US Open, taking place from August 28 to September 10 this year, has been full of nail-biting games and exciting surprises so far, as the world’s best in tennis head to Queens, New York to show off their skills in the sport.

While the players get most of the attention, fans also like to keep a close eye on their favourite athletes’ partners cheering on just as excitedly from the sidelines. Perhaps with better views though.

The fascination around tennis WAGs continue to be a hot topic in celebrity headlines, with many of them dressing to the nines, living glamorous lifestyles and jet-setting to lavish destinations with their spouses between tournaments.

This year, US No 1 player Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend Morgan Riddle has been dubbed “the most famous woman in men’s tennis” by The New York Times. Fashionable, gorgeous and loved by the media, Riddle is your typical WAG, and the couple was even referred to as the next “Posh and Becks”.

Aussie tennis pro Nick Kyrgios’ partner Costeen Hatzi is also no stranger to luxury travel, embarking on trips to Greece, the Bahamas, London and Miami in her spare time.

These lucky ladies sometimes even have the option to travel by private jet followed by a drive in a Rolls-Royce, like Frances Tiafoe’s girlfriend Ayan Broomfield.

Designer duds are an essential for many WAGs – especially knowing that they’re likely to be papped wherever they go. Tommy Paul’s girl Paige Lorenze – who has been dubbed the “female Pete Davidson” following her string of romances including Armie Hammer, Morgan Wallen and Tyler Cameron – is a fashion pro, sporting outfits from Self-Portrait, Dolce & Gabbana and Ralph Lauren.

Novak Djokovic’s childhood sweetheart-turned-wife Jelena has been seen sporting several chic handbags this season, including the classic Chanel flap bag, a monogrammed Louis Vuitton purse, and a white Lady Dior.

Tennis WAGs often become “It” girls in their own right, which often calls for an “It” bag to match. Case in point? Sebastian Korda’s girlfriend Ivana Nedvěd was seen rocking a Miu Miu Wander matelassé in one selfie. The coveted accessory is also loved by celebs like Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid and Sydney Sweeney.
