‘I’ll be home for Christmas’ says Hong Kong’s globe-trotting H Queen’s architect William Lim
Well-known architect and artist William Lim founded CL3 Architects more than 20 years ago. Today it has a notable presence across the globe.
His studio’s portfolio includes architectural and interior projects for hotels, restaurants, retail, corporate, residences and art-installation design, his most famous being Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, The Park Lane Hong Kong and, more recently, H Queen’s, also in Hong Kong.
One of his sons has followed in his footsteps, and is also a notable architect.
Lately, I have been doing ... architecture for two resort hotels in mainland China and a huge mansion in the United States, so lots of travelling.

To me, Christmas means ... a time of sharing and reconciliation.
This Christmas, my wish list is ... there will be less trash in our ocean.
