On a Red Table Talk episode, Will Smith revealed that he wanted to meet Jada Pinkett from the first moment he saw her on the sitcom A Different World. He visited the set hoping to meet Pinkett, but he first ran into Zampino, who was also visiting her friend there, writer Orlando Jones. They quickly hit it off and Smith forgot his initial goal. The pair ended up getting married in 1992 and had a son, Trey Smith. However, their marriage unfortunately didn’t last long.
