Michael Zhou is pursuing a master of science in contemporary Chinese studies at the University of Oxford. Michael’s research interests lie in examining US-China strategic competition, particularly the role of Chinese historical analogies in China’s foreign policy and international relations. He also takes an interest in understanding China’s contemporary soft power strategy in Southeast Asia.
